Spring Renewal Retreat: Grounding Ramadan's Spiritual Ascent into Daily Resilience
April 1-6, 2026 | Edmonton, Alberta
Held in the renewing month of Shawwal, this retreat addresses a profound need for integration. How do you carry the spiritual clarity, discipline (sabr), and inner peace of Ramadan back into the demanding reality of caregiving? This sanctuary provides the space and practices to translate sacred gains into sustainable, operational resilience, ensuring the light of the holy month becomes a permanent strength in your service.
You Have Given So Deeply
You gave your entire being during Ramadan, in worship, in service, in holding space for others. You ascended spiritually, yet the return to daily demands can feel like a tender descent.
The gap between the mountain top and the valley. The longing to hold onto the light as routine calls. The spiritual well that needs replenishing after pouring out. These are not signs of falling short. They are signs of a profound journey, and that it is now time to integrate, ground, and be nourished.
This retreat is your sacred landing. A container to gently weave your Ramadan ascent into the resilient fabric of your daily life and service.
The Spring Sanctuary: Embodying the Blessing
The "Spring Renewal" retreat is founded on the principle of Hifdh an-Ni'mah (preserving the blessing). The spiritual elevation of Ramadan is a divine gift; the work of Shawwal is to embody it.
We focus on integration (tadfeen)—weaving the barakah (blessing) you have cultivated into the very fabric of your nervous system and daily routines. Through practices that bridge spiritual insight with somatic regulation, we help you build an inner structure to protect this light. This prevents the common "post-Ramadan collapse" and transforms fleeting spiritual peaks into enduring pillars of patience, presence, and compassion for yourself and those you serve.
Held in the reflective days following the holy month, this retreat provides the structured container for that deep grounding. We honour the light you have carried, using guided practices from the Prophetic tradition and contemporary somatic healing to transform spiritual experience into enduring resilience and compassionate action.
This is not about leaving the mountain top behind, but about learning to carry its peace into the valley, to meet your community and service from a place of embodied wisdom, not spiritual longing, and to serve with renewed hikmah (wisdom) and steadfastness.
"This retreat is the sacred integration that allows caregivers to ground the spiritual gains of Ramadan, weave insights into daily resilience, and return to service with embodied wisdom and renewed purpose."
