Where healing is not performed but witnessed. Where the remembrance of Allah becomes the ground beneath every breath. Rooted in the Sufi tradition and held in Edmonton, Alberta.

If the Muslims, Jews, Christians, and the people of any other religion knew their religion well, then there would be only one religion, the religion of love, peace, mercy, justice and freedom. Sidi Muhammad Sa'id al-Jamal ar-Rifa'i as-Shadhili

Meet Your Guide

I Never Imagined
I Would Walk
This Path

Ten years ago, I did not know what Sufi spiritual healing was. What brought me here was not a plan. It was a deep longing to know who I am and to build a relationship with God rooted in love instead of fear.

The Name I Carry

Khadijah embodies the nurturing, trusted refuge. The kind of presence who believes in others when they need it most, the way Khadijah, the first believer, did for the Prophet ﷺ.

Layla brings the tender, sacred love. Deep faith in the worthiness of receiving divine love.

Together, my name is a harmony of strength and compassion, rooted in faith and balanced in the interplay of divine feminine and masculine. It is more than a name. It is a whole spiritual embodiment. And in time, I have come to understand that it is also the work.

The Turning Point

I discovered my faith in 2018. I was deeply moved and spiritually called. But like many people, I was guided into a version of Islam that was very external and rigid. The focus was on rules, appearance, and doing things "right," but very little emphasis on building a personal, loving relationship with God.

Because I was sincere, I took everything at face value. I thought that in order to prove my devotion, I had to look a certain way and follow every outward expectation. But over time, I began to feel disconnected. From myself. From my family. From my friends. And from the love that had originally brought me to God

I reached a point where I realized that much of what I was doing was rooted in trying to prove something. To people. And in some way, to God.

That realization changed everything.

I had to let go of the need to perform my faith in order to be accepted. I had to release the pressure to fit into a version of Islam that did not align with the way I had come to know God. In that letting go, I began to return inward.

Sincerity, I learned, is not something you prove. It lives in the heart.

My relationship with God became quieter. Deeper. More real. I no longer needed others to validate my faith. It was enough that God knew.

As I shifted inward, everything began to realign. My relationships softened. My sense of self became grounded. I was finally able to embody my faith in a way that felt rooted in love, mercy, and authenticity rather than fear or performance.

The Work Is a Bridge

Through that journey, I began to serve. This work became about embodying the love I had found and helping others experience it for themselves.

I work with those who have newly discovered God, with those rediscovering their faith, and with seekers from other traditions. Many were introduced to God through fear rather than love. Bringing these hearts together allows them to reflect something back to one another and return to a more merciful, loving understanding of God. A relationship rooted not in fear, but in being chosen, seen, and deeply loved.

At its core, my work is about helping people reconnect to that truth within themselves and with God.

In the World

When the Garden
Opened Its Gates
to Edmonton

Khadijah was invited to speak as part of Untold Stories of Muslim Women in Edmonton, a documentary series produced by Telus StoryHive. In this episode, Edmonton Muslim women spoke with raw honesty about Islamophobia. Not to defend. To invite. To open a real conversation with every non-Muslim neighbour willing to sit across the table and listen.

This is the religion of love made visible, on camera, in our own city.

Our Lineage

Spiritual Roots

Our healing work flows from a living tradition anchored in Divine remembrance and compassionate care. We are rooted in the Sufi path, where the heart is polished until it reflects Divine light and presence.

We are blessed to be guided by Dr. Ibrahim Jaffe, a physician, Sufi Master Healer, and spiritual guide. As a pioneer in integrating spiritual practice with modern medicine, he developed a method of spiritual healing that addresses the spiritual, emotional, psychological, and energetic roots of illness while supporting the body's natural restoration.

Dr. Jaffe explored many traditions of healing before immersing himself in Sufism under the guidance of Shaykh Sidi Muhammad al-Jamal. Through years of devotion and service, he was recognized with the title Murshid Murrabi Ruhi, guide and caretaker of the soul, and entrusted to carry forward the teaching of Sufi spiritual healing throughout the world.

Through this living connection, our work at Sufi Soul Garden is anchored in authenticity. It is both deeply spiritual and profoundly relevant for our time, joining the wisdom of the Sufi way with the mercy and love of Divine presence.

All Hearts Welcome
Who This Is For

This Sanctuary Is for Anyone Whose Heart Is Searching

If you feel heavy, disconnected, or spiritually unsettled. If you long for clarity, relief from grief, or simply to feel held by something greater. You belong here.

Those Rediscovering Their Faith

Many who come to us were introduced to God through fear rather than love. This is a space to return to the mercy, tenderness, and beauty at the heart of Islam.

Those Building a Foundation

If you are new to this path and want to learn from someone who will give you the whole truth with love and patience, not a fragment of it, you are welcome here from your very first step.

Seekers from Other Traditions

If you believe in God by another name and something about the word "Sufi" stirred something you cannot explain, that stirring is an invitation. Follow it.

Through gentle spiritual healing, sacred clearing, herbal remedies rooted in Prophetic Medicine, and contemplative retreat, each person is met exactly where they are. No matter where you are on your path, this garden is a place to rest, to be held, and to return to the peace that is your birthright.

The Heart of the Work

Why This
Work Matters

True healing is not just relief from pain, it is the gentle return of your heart to its source.

In the Sufi tradition, we understand that when the heart is polished through remembrance, prayer, and sacred intention, it becomes a mirror reflecting Divine love. From that place, peace, clarity, and wholeness naturally unfold.

This is why we do this work. Each session, whether it is spiritual healing, sacred clearing, or a retreat into silence and remembrance, is a sacred invitation.

This work matters because every person, regardless of their faith or background, deserves to feel seen, supported, and embraced by something greater than themselves. Healing is not just for the body or the mind. It is for the whole person. And when the heart is aligned with love, everything in life begins to shift toward peace.

When the heart is aligned with love, everything in life begins to shift toward peace.
